My Life Lately...

The last time I did one of these was over a year ago! Wow… how the time flies…. You can view 1 & 2 from clicking these links to see how much my life has changed since back then. Here it goes!

Size: Sadly to say after losing 90 pounds last year, I gained back a good amount, not all of it by any means! But it’s definitely way past time to get my butt back in gear and live the healthy life that I want for myself. More on that
subject later!

Friday Nights: My Friday nights are always the best, just me and my man hanging out and having fun. We’ve been trying to keep the partying to a minimum lately so they have been really chill, but I like it that way 

Hair Style: Still growing it out and trying to get it really long! I went back to brunette last year and am planning on keeping it that way until next summer maybe.

Favorite place to dine out: We’ve done a LOT of this in the last few months, but I have to say Sushi has become one of my favorite foods this year, Kyle and I have found a ton of great places in New Orleans.

Favorite Outfit: Anything comfy! Haha. I miss my favorite clothes; they are all too small for me currently 

Love Life: Well this is probably one of the biggest changes in my life since I stopped blogging. I met my boyfriend Kyle. He is the most amazing man I’ve ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with and he makes me feel amazingly lucky every day. We’ve been in the thick of things for about 9 months now and we have had an absolute blast together. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.

Home Life: My life hasn’t stopped changing and evolving since I don’t know when! I decided back in December to move home with my Mom to Austin, and then promptly decided to move to New Orleans to make a go of it with my long distance boyfriend, Kyle. I really love it in New Orleans but definitely miss my friends and family in Texas!

TV shows: Well lately I’ve gotten in to The Big Bang Theory and then there’s the always reliable Law & Order: SVU!! But Kyle and I are movie people. I’ve seen too many to count since we started dating and his collection is abnormally huge! I saw Magic Mike last night on HBO, and let me tell you I’m glad I missed that one in theatres. Such terrible acting… but I suppose the sexy men made up for it. Haha.

Extra time: Any extra time I have has been devoted to starting my photography business, I finally did it!! And I love it so much. It really feels like it was something I was meant to do and I can’t wait to watch it grow and develop my skills.

What excites me: Life! Possibilities. I feel like I’ve grown up so much this past year and realized what’s really important. And it’ being happy. It’s surrounding yourself with people who lift you up. It’s building a life for yourself. I am just so happy with every aspect of my life and I am excited to see what else is in store for me.

A moment I never want to forget: Last week. Kyle said he loved me for the first time. Like he really said it. I’ve known I loved him for a while now, but it’s such a different love than I’ve ever been in before. It feels so real, like it’s something tangible I can see and hold. It’s not always rainbows and sunshine. But it’s exactly what I want, what I need. And to hear him say it, and really mean it, it felt so satisfying. It was perfect.
