Debra & Brian's Wedding Preview

On December 28th I had the pleasure of photographing Debra & Brian Freeman's beautiful wedding affair! We started the day off at the Hyatt Riverside getting Debra and Brian prepared for their special day! The ceremony was beautiful, and I smiled as tears gathered in the corners of my eye while I listened to them exchange the most beautiful vows! After the ceremony an amazing party lasted long in to the night. The reception was stunning and the friends and family who surrounded Debra and Brian were some of the funnest people I've had the pleasure of knowing! The photos speak for themselves, showing the love these two individuals share. Enjoy!

Mary & Phil's Wedding - A Preview

What can I say about Mary & Phil... I just love them! From the moment I met them at a coffee shop I just felt like they were good friends I hadn't seen in a while. Boy was I right! We had so much fun at Mary's Bridal portraits and their Engagement session.

When their wedding day arrived I was so excited to be there with them on this special day. Not only did Mary and Phil treat me like a dear friend, both of their families were so welcoming and sweet. I almost felt as if I was just a guest at their wedding rather than a hired vendor! At Mary's parents' beautiful home, we all prepared for the evening.

Such a lucky man to have these two beauties as daughters!

Over at Mary & Phil's home I spent a few minutes with the groom and his family as they got ready to leave!

The big moment had arrived! I love catholic services and this one was no different. A beautiful bride, a beautiful church, and love all around.

Mary's father cracked me up the whole night!

Mary's mother Margaret, had the most beautiful voice I've heard in a long time, she sang a touching song during the wedding service.

Man and wife at last!

At the reception we took some beautiful family photos, and man was there plenty of family to go around!
Isn't Phil's son just the most handsome kid ever!?

Upstairs Mary and Phil started the night with their very first dance as a married couple. Simply stunning.

The cake was great, and I loved the personalized champagne glasses.

And then they partied into the night. Crazy fun time ensued and the band was wonderful!

Mary & Phil- I can't thank you enough for trusting me with your fabulous and very special day. I feel privileged to have met you and hope we remain friends for years to come!

Leslie & Mark's Wedding Preview

The formatting on my photography blog is giving me trouble, so I want to post a few blogs here until I get my business blog at vcbphotography.com up to par!

More than a year ago I had the pleasure of meeting Leslie, Mark and their beautiful little girl, Kaylee. I was photographing their family/engagement session and we had a blast! Watching Kaylee play football with her mom and dad I could just tell they were a really fun family, and boy was I right! When they asked me to be their wedding photographer I was elated, and here we are a year later, and their evening affair at the Abita Quail Farm was nothing short of magical.

We started out their day getting ready, and man do these girls know how to have some fun.

I took some shots of Leslie's gorgeous dress, shoes, and flowers.

When everyone was dressed we went outside to get some photos of Leslie and her girls.

Back inside as we waited for the ladies' limo to arrive the real fun began...

Shots!

No freaking out conservative peeps, little Kaylee's was alcohol free! lol.

When we arrived at the venue - I was blown away, it was so beautiful and I loved the decor!

The men arrived looking handsome right on queue for the ceremony!

The ceremony took place on a really unique deck that was overlooking the lagoon.

Kaylee was so excited to see her Mommy and Daddy get married!

Leslie started tearing up the second she walked out of the door, it was so sweet!

The deck was gorgeous!

You could feel the energy between them, they were so excited, about to be married!

Mark's smile never left his face.

Leslie was glowing.

Rings were exchanged.

The candle was lit.

And a first kiss was shared. (I love Kaylee's big smiling face!)

After the ceremony we took some awesome family portraits!

And then went on to the reception. After their grand entrance Mark lit some meat on fire, it was really cool and definitely a first for me to capture!

The first dance was up next.

True love at it's best.

Mark and his mother.

And Leslie with her Father. These dances always put happy tears in my eyes!

The cake was cut and garter and bouquet toss was too cute!

After all the traditional wedding things, the party really got started. The maid of honor and best man made sure of that!

And they ended it with a kiss!

Thank you. thank you. thank you Leslie and Mark for including me on this beautiful day. I truly had a blast with you two!! I wish you all the happiness in the world.

-Victoria
