My Life Lately {2}

I did one of these back in March (if you feel like being depressed... you can find it here, lol) I found it on Jessica's blog, and thought I'd do an update since so much has changed since then!

Age: 22

Size: I've lost a good amount of weight since the last time I did this survey and I am so happy about it! I'm posting a Wednesday Weigh In post tomorrow, so I will leave it at that for now!

Friday Nights: Lately Friday nights have been great! My mom was in town a few weeks ago and we had a blast together, JB and I have spent a few Friday nights hanging out, and this past Friday night I was with my favorite person in the whole world!! My best friend, Nahal. 

Hair Style: Still growing it out and I got highlights about a month ago, going to get an all over color to go super blonde in the next few weeks!

Favorite place to dine out: Still haven't been dining out a lot... the only place I eat "out" at is at work, lol. The Life Cafe at Life Time is SOOO good!

Favorite Outfit: Hardly any of my clothes fit anymore...  this time it's serious! My work slacks are constantly slipping off, almost all of my old shirts are swallowing me whole! I wore these jeans to work the other day and the guys at the warehouse were all laughing at me because they were so baggy!

Love Life: So happy with this aspect of my life right now. We are taking things slow, we kind of hit the reset button, but everything is going really well these days. I get to see the guy I care about, have a blast, and look forward to everything to come :)

 Home Life: This year has been a crazy transition for me living on my own and worrying about myself FIRST. I spent so many years focused on helping other people that I lived with and I got so burnt out on being used. My things were treated with no regard and there were never any boundaries with my exes or roommates. My home is my sanctuary now, and I'll never let anyone steal that from me again. I really appreciate how JB treats my space, he is so respectful of it-something I was not used to in the past from others.

TV shows: I still hardly watch TV. When JB's over sometimes we will watch Locked Up, for some reason I love those shows... Justin says it's because I share a kinship with the inmates after my stint in jail (if you missed that fun little story you can check it out here.) However I have to disagree... my little county jail trip doesn't hold a candle to what the prisoners on that show go through! Justin's show of choice? Hawaii 5-0, he seriously loves this show... I think he has a man crush on Alex O'loughlin and I mean who wouldn't...

of course the beautiful Grace Park probably adds some appeal for him as well...

Oh my goodness aren't Asian women all sorts of beautiful?

Any way... moving on.

Extra time:  Extra time? What in the world is that? Lol. I work from 9am to 9pm Monday through Friday and usually work 6am-1pm on Saturdays and Sundays so my Extra time is SUPER limited. But when I do have it, it's spent by working out, hanging at the pool, in the hot tub, watching a movie with my man, or trying to get out of town for a day or two!

What excites me:  My new found passion for running. I am beyond excited for how my fitness has improved and how much more it will continue to improve as I develop my skill. I love signing up for races and training for the challenges. They have taught me so much about myself and really shown me that I am capable of doing so much more than I ever imagined. It really is a wonderful feeling!

A moment I never want to forget:  This past Sunday night I went out to see JB. We sat at the lake with a six pack and listened to old songs from high school and talked. It was a really nice night, just enjoying being together and laughing and talking about good old times we've had. I love nights like that :)
