Farewell 2010

So I have written six measly blogs in 2010. That could not hardly sum up everything that happened to me this year! When I started this blog in 2009 I named it "Headed For A Better Life" because I had finally gotten on the right track towards having a healthy and fulfilling life. I had met a new man, I was on my way to Dallas to be with him, I was doing good in school, I was on my way to a better life. But now I am here!! So I need to change the name of this blog. Now I am living my better life!

So 2010... what a year! There has been joy and laughter, there have been trials and tribulations. But every year that goes by just amazes me! Where has the time gone, and how could it go so quickly? Like the blink of an eye. In 2010, we loved, laughed, and lived. Taylor and I continued to grow and grow. We learned more about each other and ourselves everyday. There were times when things got hard and we thought about giving up, but that's the beauty in life, it's hard and you have to work at it to make it happy, and that's what we did. I think I learned more about myself this year, than any other. I learned that it's ok to cry sometimes, and it's ok to not be perfect. To realize that I have made mistakes and I am going to make mistakes for the rest of my life, but it's OK. No one is perfect.

Taylor and I became best friends this year, and we need to rely on others for support less and less because we have each other. We made some awesome friends this year, lost some old ones, and the friends we already have, our bonds just got closer. We learned that not everyone has a place in our life and sometimes you  have to say goodbye and move on.

So in 2010... we worked hard and played harder, I had an amazing year with my acting, we had an amazing summer spent celebrating our birthdays, trips to San Marcos and the river, hanging out with our best friends,  an amazing birthday cruise to the bahamas and florida, a fun filled Halloween, great holidays, Taylor and I got engaged, followed shortly by Nahal and Cody, and life just feels like it couldn't possibly get better but we know it will!

In 2011 we already have so much to look forward to! Jessica is coming to live with us, Taylor and I are getting married in June, and hopefully going on an awesome honeymoon, then in July we are moving to San Marcos as a married couple! We will see what other fun things we can get into for the rest of the year! I know 2011 will be one to remember! So goodbye 2010 and thank you for all the good times, you taught me more than you will ever know!
