Ready for excuses? 
I hope so. 
Cause here they come, ladies and gents…

No, but really it was another bad week. I didn’t gain but I only lost one pound…
Here is what I’m thinking the causes are

-I’ve been stressed to the max (bills are the devil)
-It’s lady time (girls you know how hard it is to turn down cravings during this week!)
-I found out some potentially frightening news about my vision that has had me even more stressed
-I’ve been having a little too much fun
-I’m on a pretty steady plateau right now

Ok, so there are my excuses… I did really well with working out this week, on Friday I was actually down 4 pounds! Then the weekend hit.... and things got crazy… It’s been tough lately, I’ve been trying my hardest and when you don’t see results it can be really frustrating. The one thing I am happy about is that I can tell I have gained so much strength from working out so often, and my endurance is improving tenfold. 

Anyway on to the questions...

Days left until Warrior Dash: 17
Weight: 193
Something I did this week that made me proud: I snacked on healthy foods and worked out 5 times
What I need to work on next week: NO cheating on my diet at all... damn you Olive Garden!
What temptations did I avoid this week: I ate Denny's Fit Slam whilst watching my Dad down a Grandslamwich... like a grilled cheese with eggs and ham!!! 
What temptations didn't I avoid this week: I had tamales on the beach in Galveston... and then the whole Olive Garden thing mentioned earlier..
Total Weight loss so far: -1/12 = 0% of my goal

I am still determined to lose SOMETHING in the next 17 days... and I think I will keep up this Weigh in Wednesday post going, it really helps keep me accountable! 

PS, I started my new job at LifeTime Athletic this week!!! :)

  2. You still lost a pound girl! That's great! Especially considering you have your lady time :) And eating out... both those things equal water weight. I bet you'll see a better number next week!
