I am a strong, confident, self-possessed and independent woman, but when I meet a guy who makes my insides curl I find myself surrendering who I am in order to please him and make him like me. It's not a conscious thing, it's slow and subtle, until I wake up one day and realise this guy I have been so crazy about, have been putting in all the effort to impress has not done a thing to impress me ...
And what is that all about?!
You are worth more than that, you are worth someone putting the effort in.
