Tell Me...

So I found this really great blog names Then I Got To Thinking... run by a lovely lady named Tracy. She is doing a link up titled Tell Me.. which is a cool way of getting to know people better.

This week's topic is "Tell me something that unexpectedly changed your life"

When I moved to Dallas I had no idea where I'd end up. I thought I was moving here for my "Happily ever after" and it's actually become my "Once upon a time..." Living this far away from my family and learning to be self sufficient has changed my life completely. I moved here as a 20 year old who was ready to settle down, get married, start having children and this adventure changed me. Being in Dallas, feeling like there is so much more out there... meeting people, becoming involved with Theatre, finishing my first degree, all of that taught me so much about myself and about what I really wanted from my life.

You will find that if you read my blog often, I post about this subject regularly. I post about taking steps to change things in your life that make you unhappy, I post about making sure that you are aware of what you TRULY want in life, it seems so many young girls these days don't know the answer to that question and waste months or years of their lives doing things, or being with men who make them unhappy. It hurts me heart to see it.

So that's what unexpectedly changed my life, the Big D, taking a leap of faith and moving to a place where I finally found ME. :) I'll always have Dallas to thank for that.
